"Coming-of-Monster Ceremony" (成怪獣式,   Sei Kaijū Shiki) is the 55th episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 42nd of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on January 15, 2025. An English-subtitled version was released on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel on that February 26.

Plot

Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Ghidorah, and Chibi Rodan have all gathered for their coming-of-monster ceremony where they are to graduate from little monsters into big monsters. Chibi Godzilla announces this, confusing Chibi Ghidorah and Chibi Rodan due to them both already knowing. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Ghidorah lament that the graduation speech is given by Chibi Hedorah, whose speeches are too long, but Chibi Rodan assures them that they'll make it through it and just have to pretend to listen. Chibi Hedorah appears, angrily yelling that he heard that before climbing onto the stage and congratulating them for making it this far. He tells them big monsters have many responsibilities such as destroying everything in sight, grabbing planes, and stomping on tanks. He tells them they also have out-of-battle responsibilities such as answering calls while working. Chibi Hedorah then gives some advice on escaping tricky situations: if a problem comes calling, put it on hold and transfer the call. Chibi Godzilla exclaims that that's avoiding responsibility. Chibi Hedorah asks if they knew that humans also have coming-of-age ceremonies, but they dress up in weird outfits and make a lot of noise, with hooligans having been known to go as far as to jump on their stage and steal the microphone. Just then Chibi Titano appears and does exactly that. Chibi Hedorah gets mad at him for interrupting, but Chibi Godzilla says that his speech wasn't meaningful anyways. Chibi Titano tells the others that Monster Island is in their hands now and that they have to start sticking it to "the man." Chibi Titano circles back to the topic of responsibility, asking if it's really that scary and stating that big monsters have big responsibilities, which take big risks, which makes them stronger. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Rodan praise his speech before Chibi Titano drops the mic and leaves. Chibi Hedorah asks what that was about before making one last announcement: nobody graduated into being a big monster this year. The other chibi monsters despair and ask if big monsters even exist on the island, which is not helped by Chibi Hedorah pointing out that even he is still technically little. Chibi Hedorah concludes the ceremony, ignoring Chibi Godzilla screaming that he wants to be a big monster already.
