- Chibi Mechagodzilla: “Lesson? What will you teach us about, Mr. Hedo?”
- Chibi Hedorah: “HUMANS.”
- Chibi Mechagodzilla: “Humans?”
- Chibi Hedorah: “On this island, I am the most knowledgeable about humans. I will teach you how pathetic human beings are!”
- ― Chibi Hedorah expressing his disdain for humans (Chibi Godzilla Raids Again episode 8, "The Sage of Grudges, Chibi Hedorah")
Chibi Hedorah (ちびヘドラ is a Chibi Hedora)kaiju who appears in the 2023 anime series Chibi Godzilla Raids Again.
Name
Chibi Hedorah's name simply comes from placing chibi (ちび), a Japanese word meaning "little," before "Hedorah." The other monsters typically address him as Mr. Hedo (ヘドさん. Hedo-san)
Design
Chibi Hedorah has a purple blob-shaped body with no visible legs. He possesses what appear to be three fingers on each hand, as well as red sideways-facing eyes and a mouth.
In his clean form, Chibi Hedorah is light blue in color, with a smooth texture, constant sparkles around his head, and white eyes instead of red ones.
Personality
Chibi Hedorah is described as a "self-proclaimed sage."[1] He appears to house a deep hatred of humans, regarding them as "pathetic", though his animosity towards them is greatly exaggerated. Despite being a sludge monster, he cares deeply for the environment and cannot stand filth, describing himself as a "clean freak".
In the second season, more emphasis is placed on his apparent old age, often ranting about the youth of today and arguing that everything was better in the past. Despite his curmudgeonly attitude, he reiterates that, technically, he is still a little monster in "Coming-of-Monster Ceremony".

Chibi Godzilla Raids Again
"The Sage of Grudges, Chibi Hedorah"
In Monster Island's classroom, Chibi Hedorah arrived to teach a lesson for Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Mechagodzilla, and Chibi Rodan. After Chibi Hedorah failed to recognize Chibi Rodan despite seeing him all the time, the devastated Chibi Rodan plummeted from the sky and knocked himself out. Chibi Hedorah proceeded to reveal that his "lesson" was teaching the others about how pathetic humans were, only to end up listing random and trivial reasons in an attempt to justify his hatred. Chibi Godzilla eventually told Chibi Mechagodzilla that Hedorah exaggerates a deep voice to emphasize his supposed hatred of humans, though it was really just an act. Chibi Mechagodzilla dismissed Chibi Hedorah's teachings to his face before asking if he had even met a human before; while Chibi Godzilla was certain that he had, the sludge monster admitted that he hadn't.
"The War at Low Tide"
Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Mechagodzilla, Chibi Ghidorah, and Chibi Rodan went to the beach to dig for clams when they encountered Chibi Hedorah, who was cleaning trash that had washed up on Monster Island's shores. Chibi Rodan praised Chibi Hedorah's commitment to the environment, only to plummet from the sky when Chibi Hedorah once more failed to recognize him. Chibi Godzilla asked where the garbage had come from, and Chibi Hedorah explained that humans were to blame, identifying most of the objects as weapons of conflict. However, Chibi Mechagodzilla refuted each of Chibi Hedorah's claims that all of the objects had been used for war, stating that most were simply everyday items. Chibi Ghidorah was dismayed that so much garbage had washed up on their beaches, at which point a revived Chibi Rodan suggested picking up the trash shortly before passing out again when Chibi Hedorah declared that the pterosaur was "full of garbage" himself. Just as the chibi monsters enthusiastically embraced the idea of cleaning the beach, Chibi Hedorah first told them to clean up their own trash in reference to Chibi Rodan's unconscious body, which resulted in Chibi Mechagodzilla defending the fallen monster.
"Mr. Hedo's Lecture"
Chibi Godzilla initiated a new study session to Chibi Mechagodzilla, Chibi Ghidorah, Chibi Mothra and Chibi Anguirus, with all four of them reacting in excitement until Chibi Godzilla introduced Chibi Hedorah as their teacher, at which point all of them except Chibi Mechagodzilla sighed deeply. When Chibi Mechagodzilla questioned this reaction, Chibi Ghidorah explained that Chibi Hedorah's lessons were usually incredibly long and boring, and Chibi Mothra commented that he once talked for two hours about the soles of feet. Chibi Hedorah told the group that their lesson would be on the countless mistakes humanity had made, making Chibi Mechagodzilla wonder if he meant things like war, but Chibi Hedorah instead listed extremely minor examples such as ordering unlimited drinks but only being able to drink one, throwing their laundry at the washing machine and missing, and being too lazy to go to the toilet in the night. Chibi Hedorah proceeded to list similar examples for two hours, to the point where his students eventually began to pass out from exhaustion, beginning with Chibi Mothra and two of Chibi Ghidorah's heads until Chibi Mechagodzilla was the last one standing. Chibi Hedorah complained that the youth of today had no willpower, putting it down to the way they allocated weight to the soles of the feet. He proceeded to begin sharing his thoughts on this matter in what was sure to be another hours-long session, to Chibi Mechagodzilla's despair.
"Mechagodzilla Shooting"
As Chibi Mechagodzilla was about to show Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Ghidorah a game he had just made, Chibi Hedorah popped up at the window before somehow appearing in the room, ranting about the current state of video games and how older ones were better, though his use of older slang confused Chibi Ghidorah. Chibi Mechagodzilla was able to cheer Mr. Hedo up by telling him that the game he had made was in the style of older, retro video games and offered to let Chibi Hedorah watch Chibi Godzilla play it. Chibi Hedorah offered praise to the game while watching and asked to play after Chibi Godzilla beat the first boss, King Ghidorah, though Chibi Godzilla was skeptical about his gaming abilities due to his apparent old age. Chibi Hedorah reassured Chibi Godzilla that he could play older games, but as he began to play, he proved himself to be terrible at the game, forcing Chibi Godzilla to take back the controller as they reached the second boss, Godzilla himself. Chibi Godzilla refused to fight the boss as he argued with the others, though a graphical error interrupted the game, revealed to be due to Chibi Hedorah pressing a random button (which proved to be the power button) and unplugging the entire console since he wanted to join in, earning him a telling-off from both Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Mechagodzilla.
"Godzilla King Showdown"
Chibi Hedorah appeared to present the second question of Chibi Godzilla's quiz honoring Godzilla Day, in which he asked the three participants (Chibi Mechagodzilla, Chibi Ghidorah and Chibi Mothra) about Hedorah's weakness, with the options of celery, dryness, and cleaning companies. However, Chibi Hedorah immediately gave the answer away by complaining about how dry it was that day, allowing Chibi Mothra to correctly guess "dryness". Chibi Hedorah then left as soon as he had appeared.
"Chibi Hedorah is Squeaky Clean"
Chibi Hedorah suddenly appeared as Chibi Mechagodzilla was presenting a water filtration device to Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Mothra, and the Shobijin. Chibi Hedorah began to complain about Chibi Mechagodzilla having stayed up all night to build it rather than playing outdoors, though Chibi Godzilla and the Shobijin pointed out that they were playing outside now. Chibi Hedorah began to talk about how he played outside when he was young but grew angry at the Shobijin's rudeness, with the two believing that he was only miserable because his thoughts were murky. Chibi Godzilla suggested Chibi Hedorah should enter the water filtration device to purify him which Chibi Hedorah agreed to on the basis he wasn't murky in the first place.
The device was a success and completely changed Chibi Hedorah's appearance, voice, and personality. The group initially celebrated the transformation until realizing that Chibi Hedorah had gone to the other extreme and passive-aggressively denounced any and all rude language, quickly annoying the group far more than any of his previous antics had. Chibi Hedorah then made them re-enact their conversation before he had arrived but now following the "code of conduct", making changes such as Chibi Mechagodzilla being accepting of Chibi Godzilla's statement that he drank dirty water. Chibi Mechagodzilla complained to Chibi Hedorah that the conversation was boring and Chibi Godzilla begged for Chibi Hedorah to revert to his previous self.
"Dream Hot Spring"
Chibi Hedorah came across Chibi Gigan arguing with Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Rodan over the hot spring that the two biological monsters were relaxing in and prepared to enter the spring himself. Chibi Gigan attempted to stop him since Chibi Hedorah would pollute the spring, though Chibi Hedorah pointed out that Chibi Gigan did not own the spring and entered anyways. Chibi Gigan despaired as the water grew murky until Chibi Hedorah transformed into his purified form and asked Chibi Gigan why he is upset. Chibi Hedorah told him off since his complaint was relating to Chibi Hedorah's natural sludge as Chibi Godzilla recalled the irritating side effects of Chibi Hedorah's purified form. Chibi Hedorah continued to tell Chibi Gigan off as both Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Rodan complained about how insufferable Chibi Hedorah's purified form was in addition to critiquing Chibi Gigan being a pushover.
"Coming-of-Monster Ceremony"
Chibi Hedorah arrived at the Coming-of-Monster Ceremony for Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Ghidorah, and Chibi Rodan, already angry as he had overheard them complaining about his speeches. Chibi Hedorah then began his speech, congratulating the three of them for making it so far in life and began talking to them about their responsibilities about being giant monsters: crushing tanks, breaking planes, and destroying historical sites as well as answering necessary calls. He began to talk about the similar coming-of-age ceremonies humans have and how they behave like hooligans, but just as he began to speak about how it was not uncommon for someone to steal the microphone at one of these human ceremonies, Chibi Titano did the exact same thing, annoying Chibi Hedorah in the process. Chibi Hedorah watched as Chibi Titano began an enthusiastic speech about his views on the responsibilities of giant monsters and how risks make them stronger. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Rodan were more openly enthusiastic about Chibi Titano's speech, with Chibi Hedorah demonstrating great confusion when Chibi Titano suddenly left. Chibi Hedorah ended the ceremony with the announcement that nobody was actually graduating since they were all still little, making the entire ceremony a waste of time as Chibi Hedorah revealed even he was technically still little. Chibi Ghidorah wondered if there were even any big monsters on the island while Chibi Godzilla despaired about still being small.
